QH Libraries Search - Tips: Journal Search

The Journal Search tool lets you search for journals that are either subscribed to by Queensland Health or individual HHSs, or are available as Open Access (i.e. free to read for everybody).

In most instances, if you are using a computer attached to the QH network, you can connect to the online versions without signing in. Depending on your access rights, you may need to login with your QH Libraries logon or a CKN OpenAthens login. You'll be prompted to sign in when you connect.

There are several ways to use Journal Search:

• by title – look up a particular journal title to check its availability online or in print
• by subject – use the 'Journals by Category' facets on the left-hand side to discover journals available in broad subject categories
• by ISSN – International Standard Serial Number, a unique number assigned to a journal title
