The Databases A to Z collection lists all of the electronic databases, point-of-care tools, medicine resources available to Queensland Health employees. Some databases, such as PubMed, are free for anyone to use, but others require a subscription to access their content.
The databases A-Z tool lets you:
- search for databases by title, publisher or broad subject category
- search a single database by connecting directly to the site
Searching for databases
There are several ways to find a particular database, including:- browse the alphabetical list
- search for a known database title (e.g. Medline)
- search for a clinical topic (e.g. nursing)
Accessing databases
You can click on a database title to go directly to that site and start searching. Depending on your access rights, you may need to login with your QH Libraries logon or a CKN OpenAthens login. If in doubt, contact your QH librarian for assistance
