Rotations

Each medical year is divided into five 10-12 week terms across four required Clinical Experience Categories:

A: Undifferentiated Care

B: Chronic Illness

C: Acute/Critical Care

D: Peri-Operative/Procedural Care

Rosters

The after-hours workload equates to approximately 6 weekend shifts over a 10-week term.  Interns may also be rostered to remote call.

Leave

Leave is usually allocated in 5 week blocks during an elective term.
